• You are on a site dedicated to learning of "Maintien en Condition Opérationnelle (MCO) / Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and In-Service Support (ISS)".

This site includes interactive courses that cover any and all activities which have an impact on the operational availability and performance improvement of aircraft, engines and equipment.

The following process map summarizes the activities described in the courses throughout the product life cycle.

Cours disponibles

After showing the importance of ILS & ISS in aeronautics, this course presents the main activities, the notions of operational availability (Ao) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), the major segments and the problem of optimization.

The objective of the Procurement course is to understand the importance of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for a product such as an aircraft, engine or equipment.
The Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) process is presented in accordance with ASD S3000L.

ASD : AeroSpace and Defense Industries Association of Europe

The objective of the "operations" course is to understand how fleets are managed according to the planning horizon: from the line to the headquarters of airlines and air forces.

The importance of airworthiness is emphasized.

The objective of the maintenance course is to show how maintenance is organized and carried out.
Maintenance processes are described in detail with realistic data and examples.

The objective of the Supply Chain (Logistics) course is to show the specificity of maintenance logistics which includes reverse repair logistics and must take into account the management of the aircraft configuration.

To do this, an overview of the main activities and the basic principles of the supply chain is proposed before focusing on the logistics processes within the aeronautical “In Service Support”.
